A new born baby from Texas broke hospital weight record.

The baby tipped the scales by more than 16 pounds (7.3 kgs) and broke the records in Longview, Texas.

The baby’s name is JaMichael and it was delivered by cesarean section. His parents were Janet Johnson and Michael Brown.

“We’re just amazed,” Johnson told the Longview News-Journal.

“I can’t believe he’s that big. A lot of the baby clothes we bought for him will have to be returned. They’re already too small for him to wear.”

Even the hospital got a little trouble about the baby. The newborn nursery doesn’t have big diapers to fit unto him.

Local news reports said that, Johnson suffered from gestational diabetes during pregnancy. This is mainly the reason why her baby is so huge.

JaMichael will be on the hospital for a few more days to regulate his blood sugar.
