Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration Info Session

There will be an informational session for those nurses who would like to take up a master’s degree in nursing administration on September 15, 2011 at the Conference Room E of Good Samaritan Hospital.

The program is called “Nurse Leader Executive Advanced Development uses the Internet and other distance technologies and is tailored for Nebraska nurses working in rural settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, acute care facilities and long-term care facilities.”

University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing professors Karen Grigsby and Teresa Hultquist will present information about the programs and answer questions.

Nurses can access the program as a part-time or full-time student in one of three ways:

  1. an accelerated registered nurse to master’s degree in nursing program
  2. a traditional bachelor’s degree to master’s degree
  3. a post-master’s certificate
